The Global Retailing Ideas Summit April 29-30, 2021

After close consultation with our partners in the retail industry and community and in light of the growing concerns around COVID-19, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the Global Retailing Ideas Summit scheduled for April 2 – 3 to a date to be soon determined.  We still intend to have a great lineup of speakers – likely including nearly all of the currently committed speakers – as well as all of the other great event features that our attendees have come to expect.  But, today, we want to make sure to prioritize the health and safety of our attendees, speakers, and sponsors during this Global pandemic.

FAQ

I was due to attend the Global Retailing Ideas Summit in April 2020 – do I need to do anything to ensure my registration is valid for the rescheduled event?
All attendee passes for the Global Retailing Ideas Summit will automatically be valid for the rescheduled event  – you don’t need to do anything.  Please expect an email communication in the coming weeks which will provide you with more information.

 I booked a hotel room at the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort.  Do I need to cancel my booking? Yes, please contact the hotel directly to cancel your April reservation. We will be providing a new registration pass key with special summit pricing in the coming weeks for you to re-book.

I’m a sponsor for the Global Retailing Ideas Summit – will my sponsorship automatically be moved to the rescheduled October event? Yes, and we will be contacting each of our sponsors individually to confirm the details over the coming days.

 I was due to have a Networking Exhibitor Lounge Space at the Global Retailing Ideas Summit – will my space automatically be moved to the rescheduled October event?
Yes, and we will be contacting everyone in the coming days to discuss that.

Welcome to Tucson! Located in the heart of southern Arizona with an average of 350 days of sunshine makes for the perfect backdrop for GR Ideas Summit 2020.

Hundreds of retailing professionals, consultants, senior executives, and our “future retail leaders” will attend the GR Ideas Summit this coming April at the campus of the University of Arizona.

What is the dress code?

Attendees are encouraged to wear whatever they feel most comfortable in, somewhat along the lines of business casual. The conference takes place in April, where guests will be able to experience an average high of 80F, a true enjoyment for the early months of spring.

When do I get my badge?

You will receive your name badge when you sign in at registration the day you attend the conference. Your name also enters you into a drawing for several amazing raffle prizes drawn the first night of the summit at Global Under the Stars. (Must be present to win)

What does registration include?

During the conference breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner at Global Under the Stars will be provided as part of your registration and an opportunity to network with the nation’s top industry leaders.

Do I receive confirmation of my registration?

A confirmation email will be sent to you following your registration online

Cancellation Policy

If your plans change and you cannot attend, you may send a colleague in your place or your registration fee can be transferred to next year’s program. Registrations cancelled after March 29, 2021 cannot be refunded. A $25 cancellation fee will be deducted for any cancellations after February 1st.
